From Dublin

We are about 100 miles from Dublin. Exit the city following signs for Limerick/ South West / M7 Motorway. Stay on this route following signs for Limerick until you reach Roscrea . Take the 3rd exit on the 1st roundabout you meet following the signs for Birr. Proceed about 1km and there is a right turn for Birr. Birr is about 15km/10ml from Roscrea. On entering Birr follow signs for Nenagh / Portumna which is a left turn off on the way into Birr. Proceed on the Nenagh Road for about a mile and you will Reach Riverstown. There is a right turn off at the end of this small village for Portumna which is about 20km/14m from here. You will reach Portumna and drive straight through. You will see the Shannon Oaks Hotel and Country Club on the left hand side as you leave the town. Stay on this road which is the Ennis / Scariff road for 16km/10ml and you will reach Gurteeny. There is a sharp left turn off just before the village sign for Gurteeny. Drive down this road for about 1/2 mile and you will see St. Anne's well and Grotto on the left hand side. Turn right at the Bungalow just ahead. Stay on this road for about 2m/3km and you have reached your destination.

From Shannon International Airport

We are about 60km / 40 miles from Shannon. Exit the airport following signs for Galway / Ennis (Route N18) . Stay on this route for about 15mile and you will see signs near Ennis for the R352 ( Tulla / Scarriff / Portumna ) . Procede onto this route and stay on the R352 for about 30 miles. You will pass Through Tuamgraney / Scarriff / Mountshannon / Whitegate / Coose and 3 miles later you will arrive at Gurteeny which is a small village consistings of 2 pubs and a car garage . 150metres after Cannings Bar take the turn off to the Right hand at the Y junction. Drive down this road for about 1/2 mile and you will see St. Anne's well and Grotto on the left hand side. Turn right at the Bungalow just ahead. Stay on this road for about 2m/3km and you have reached your destination.

Make your way to Portumna and find the Shannon Oaks Hotel which is along the central thoroughfare as you exit the town heading for Scariff / Ennis ( Route R352) Stay on this road which is the Ennis / Scariff road for 16km/10ml and you will reach Gurteeny. There is a sharp left turn off just before the village sign for Gurteeny. Drive down this road for about 1/2 mile and you will see St. Anne's well and Grotto on the left hand side. Turn right at the Bungalow just ahead. Stay on this road for about 2m/3km and you have reached your destination.
